Elegancia Healthcare, a subsidiary of Qatar’s Estithmar Holding, has agreed to develop medical clinics in Astana, Kazakhstan, to address the country’s rising need for high-quality healthcare services. The contract was signed on June 10, 2023, by Kazakhstan’s Minister of Health Giniyat Azhar and Estithmar Holding Chairman Moutaz Al Khayyat.
Elegancia Healthcare and “Cynosure” LLP will work together to build the medical facility, while the Astana International Financial Centre will serve as the administrative body. This advanced medical centre will have latest technologies and highly skilled doctors and nurses. The Astana multipurpose medical hub will feature 300 beds and will contain a polyclinic, diagnostic, and rehabilitation buildings. The total cost of the project will be $300 million.
The Chairman of Estithmar Holding, Moutaz Al Khayyat, states “This agreement shows our dedication to our plan of expanding globally and establishing an outstanding healthcare facility in Kazakhstan.”
It is worth mentioning that the project’s implementation verifies both nations’ ambitions to increase economic and commercial connections, as well as contribute to the development of high-tech medical infrastructure.
The project will be carried out with the assistance of JSC “NC “KAZAKH INVEST.”
The Chairman of Estithmar Holding, Moutaz Al Khayyat, emphasised that having strong and strategic relations between Qatar and Kazakhstan is important. He also mentioned that this agreement could potentially help Kazakhstan grow socially and economically.
