  • The UAE patients can seek medical advices from the top Apollo specialists without travelling abroad

RAK Hospital, a prominent healthcare facility in the UAE and part of the Arabian Healthcare Group, has entered into a strategic partnership with India’s Apollo Hospital, the largest healthcare provider in Afro-Asia. This collaboration aims to enhance clinical services and broaden healthcare options for patients.

The joint venture encompasses various facets, including training, telemedicine services (offering medical consultations through video calls), educational initiatives, and laboratory services. The alliance strives to leverage advanced medical technology and foster mutual advancements in the healthcare sector.

Dr Raza Siddiqui, the Executive Director of RAK Hospital, emphasized the significance of international collaboration, stating, “Working alongside hospitals from other countries is crucial to enhancing the quality of medical services. This partnership will be highly beneficial for patients, enabling them to access top-notch medical care from Apollo Hospitals’ leading doctors without leaving the UAE.”

This collaboration facilitates UAE patients in seeking expert medical advice from Apollo Hospitals’ specialists without the need for international travel. As diseases become more prevalent and the landscape of non-communicable diseases evolves, healthcare providers recognize the importance of cross-border cooperation. Collaborations with healthcare providers in different regions are essential to effectively manage the growing burden of diseases.

RAK Hospital views international partnerships as pivotal for expanding its capacity to deliver long-term medical care. The collaboration with India’s Apollo Hospitals is expected to bring substantial benefits to patients in the UAE.

Dr K. Hariprasad, the Group President of Apollo Hospitals, affirmed that “through this partnership, the highly skilled medical specialists from Apollo Hospitals will provide their expertise and medical services at RAK Hospital.”

RAK Hospital is distinguished for its specialized services, including a comprehensive neurosurgery and spine center, orthopedic and joint replacement surgery, neurosurgery treatments, cardiac surgery, interventional cardiology services, and minimally invasive surgical procedures. Additionally, the hospital offers spa services for health and rejuvenation, along with an aesthetic, plastic, and reconstructive surgery department.

Notably, RAK Hospital stands as the exclusive medical institution in the MENA region associated with Dignity Health International (DHI), CommonSpirit’s international health representation. This partnership enhances the hospital’s position as a premier medical center for both domestic and international patients, reflecting its commitment to capacity expansion.
